July 30

Took Sunday off and got some things done around the house. Washed my truck,mowed the lawn, and took my lovely wife out to dinner at the Vintage Tavern. Monday morning tide was not low until 11:45 so I left the house around 8 and headed for the beach. It was overcast and low 80ties Beach was crowded and lot of people were in the water.

Did not find any gold today but I did manage to find a Stainless Steel ring and a Big old silver ring and silver ear ring

July 28

Hit the beach twice today for both low tides Saturday morning I ended up finding a nice 10k gold bangle bracelet and 4 pair of sun glasses

Saturday evening I called Ina and ask her if she wanted to go with me. So I picked her up around 7pm and off to the beach we go. It was still 90 degrees and humid. Lot of people on the beach. We did not find any gold but I did manage 3 Rings. 1 Tungsten and 2 junk rings. 1 woman's Monet bracelet and a silver ear ring.

July 27th

Hit the beach early again this morning 5:30am. It was warm and humid already 84 degrees There were a few clouds so not as pretty a sunrise as I like but it was nice just being out in the fresh air.

There were a few more targets to dig this morning and most of them were quarters.I did get a nice low tone after about an hour and out pops a real nice 14k Gold Nugget Ring.

There were quite a few other surf pirates out this morning looking for treasure. I detected for about 3 hours and then went up and had a cafe muffin with some friends. Here is a picture of all my treasure for today.

July 26

Got up at 4am and picked up my sister in law at 5 and headed for the beach there was not much traffic so it was a quick 30 minute ride. Another beautiful sun rise this morning

There were not a lot of targets today but we had a good time.After we finished we stopped at the 33rd Street Cafe and had breakfast with a few friends. Here is my treasure's for the day.

July 25 Getting Caught Up

July 25 decided to bring my blog up to date on what all has been going on this year. January 2012

Found my last gold ring and a nice silver necklace Dec 23 2011

On Feb 1st I found a nice Smith & Wesson spring assist knife

March 26 before I found my first PC of gold for 2012 a 14k gold ear ring

did not anything else in march but I did see some beautiful sun rises

April was another slow month and we left and went to Florida for a couple weeks and I did not find any gold May was a much better month starting with a nice silver ring May 18

Then on May 27 I find my first gold ring for 2012 It is a 14k with 5 small diamonds

On May 28 I find a Sacajawea Dollar

June starts off pretty good with a nice heavy Sterling Silver Ring

June 3rd I find a Stainless Steel ring with a 10k gold band wrap on it.

June 9th I find a big mans watch in the wet sand and it still is working fine

June 10 up pops a nice Silver Bracelet

Friday June 15 I find another dollar coin and a nice silver ring

June 22nd I get a couple ear ring and Toe Ring

June 23 I find a Silver Shark Pendant

June 24 and I find another stainless steel ring

June 26 another beautiful sun rise and a silver bracelet

June 28 is a real good day with a silver and gold ring

June 30 another good day with a 14k gold band and nice silver ring

July 3rd is a great day again with ss ring and nice silver ring with a pink stone

July 5th I find a Diamond stud ear ring

July 7 with a breath taking sun rise

July 10 only good thing was a 20 Euro coin

July 18 I find another knife for my collection of knives

July 19th brings another little 14k ring

July 20 I find a silver ring with Brenda on written on the outside of ring and I am able to return the ring to a lady on the beach and describes a ring her husband had lost the day before she said it was a silver band with Brenda on it. So I was able to return it to her.You should have seen her smile when I said I just happen to have found it earlier in the day

July 24 finds 2 bracelets and 4 pair of glasses

July 25th and I am not going to go to the beach today just resting and I will try and update this blog daily from now on.
